Mayor Bob Buckhorn attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the “eagerly anticipated” New Tampa Boulevard Bridge.

 

The festivities were at Meadow Pine Drive and New Tampa Boulevard near the West Meadows and Richmond Place communities.

 

The overpass will connect Commerce Park and New Tampa boulevards, roads that previously dead-ended on opposite sides of the interstate. The master-planned communities of Tampa Palms and West Meadows will be connected for the first time.
