Commutapult: Is this the solution to gridlock?

Our friend Bumper-to-Bumper Betty thinks she lives in her car. Between driving across the county for work, driving her kids to school and all other trips, traffic leaves her more familiar with Tampa Bay's roads than her home.

With that in mind she directed us to the Commutapult: the next generation in mass transit. I'll let the video explain.

Of course, the Commutapult is completely ridiculous and unsafe. Actually, ridiculous and unsafe are good descriptions for our lack of mass transit options and roadways. Let's just hope we can come up with transportation solutions before our traffic drives us crazy and the Commutapult starts to look like a good idea.
